CHART OF FISHING

Fishermen, respect the payments in force of the department.

Tourists: a chart holidays or chart day labourer are at your disposal.

Inform in our agents.

In action of fishing, any fisherman must be carrying his chart and be able to justify of his identity to the agents in charge of the police force of fishing.

CLASSIFICATION OF the RIVERS

The rivers (and water levels communicating with those) are classified in 2 piscicultural categories according to the fish which they lodge:

- 2° PISCICULTURAL CATEGORY (white fish and dominant carnivores):

• The LOIRE downstream from the piles of the old bridge of Solignac on the Loire
• TO COMBINE downstream from the bridge of Saint Frame-to Combining
• ALLAGNON downstream from the hydroelectric stopping of Chambezon with Lempdes-on-Allagnon
• STOPPINGS of:
  • Saint Préjet-with Allier on Ance of the South
  • Poutès on Combining it in Alleyras (wall stopping with the junction of the brook Malaval)
  • Passouira on Ance of North
  • Lavalette on Lignon (of the wall of the work to the Morin Lifting)
• ALL WATER LEVELS communicating with the rivers of 2° category

- 1° PISCICULTURAL CATEGORY (salmonidés dominant):

• ALL OTHER RIVERS of the department
• ALL WATER LEVELS communicating with the rivers of 1° category

LEGAL SIZES OF CAPTURE OF FISH

The purpose of the minimal size of capture, fixed for certain species, is to make it possible these fish to at least once reproduce before their possible capture.

This size is determined by the age of the first reproduction (ex: between 2 and 3 years at trout) and the growth of the fish which depends on the productivity of the aquatic environment (ex: poor medium = slow growth = small size of capture).

This protection measure, often perceived like a constraint by the fishermen, makes it possible to ensure the perenniality of the natural populations of the species, with the profit of a durable fishing.

MANY CAPTURES AUTORISEES

The number of captures of salmonidés is limited to 7 maximum by fisherman and day, including 3 shades maximum commun run.

STANDARD TIMES

Fishing can be exerted half an hour before the rising of the sun, at half an hour after its sleeping (solar hour). The hour to be taken into account is that being reproduced on the calendar of the Post office. This provision does not apply to the carp courses of night.

PROCESSES AND MODES OF FISHING AUTHORIZE

In 1° category one can fish only with the assistance:

• of only one line assembled on cane provided with 2 hooks to more or 3 artificial flies at the maximum. (However, the use of 2 lines is authorized on the water level of Lachamp with Saugues).
• of 6 crayfish balances.

In 2° category, the number of authorized lines is limited to 4 lines assembled on canes provided each of 2 hooks to more or 3 artificial flies at the maximum.

The fishing of carp of night is authorized only with one simple hook and with the vegetable esches.

PROCESSES AND MODES OF FISHING PROHIBIT

For the specific period of prohibition of the fishing of pike (of January 25 to May 9, 2009), fishing with sharp, dead and artificial fish and other lures likely to capture this fish in a nonaccidental way is prohibited on:

• dam Lavalette
• the Loire downstream from the stopping of Saint Blaise in the Cussac-on-Loire
• ponds of Low-in-Basset hound
• to combine downstream from the bridge of Saint Frame-to Combining
• Allagnon downstream from the hydroelectric stopping of Chambezon with Lempdes-on-Allagnon.

The use of the machine called Bikini (train of artificial flies projected by a ballast immersed in end of line) is prohibited.

It is interdict to use as soft food or starts: eggs of fish and in 1° category maggots and other larvae the dipterous ones (tima, UNICEF-UNICEF, worms of vases).

Are strictly prohibited the following modes of fishing: hand, machines and nets, sparrowhawks, apparatuses, firearms, faggots. However, the use of the scoop and the blunder is authorized to withdraw water a fish already shoed.

The pole sun, the fish cat and the crayfish known as American (American crayfish, crayfish of California or Signal) being regarded as vermin, their employment like sharp and their transport in an alive state are prohibited.

VARIOUS PROVISIONS

When a river or a water level is joint between two or several departments, the regulation fishes the least restrictive applies to 2 banks.

It is interdict with the fishermen amateurs to sell the product of their fishing and with any other person to buy it or to market it.

Any infringement with the general regulation will be the object of a statement and possibly continuations.
