Dam Lavalette

The reserve of the dam Lavalette is classified in 2° category, big lake of mountain:

  • fish authorized all the year, within the limit of the dates of openings specific to certain species (pike and pike perch)
  • fishing prohibited since the stopping, like 50 meters upstream of the work on each bank
  • prohibited bivouac
  • prohibited starting
  • limitation of the number of catches of carnivores (pike or pike perch) with 3 per day and fisherman

For fishing in the boat, the fishermen must obligatorily ask in advance for an authorization day labourer the Federation of Haute-Loire.

The supplementary measures apply:

  • fish authorized only on reserve half upstream delimited by buoys (either out of the zone downstream reserved for the practice of the veil)
  • presence of 20 simultaneous boats maximum on the water level
  • 1 only landing stage and access point authorized on reserve, located out of Right Bank at the locality Piboulet on the commune of Lapte
  • circulation and parking of the vehicles strictly prohibited with the accesses of the water level (respect of the indication installation).

Because of the installation of a medical safety zone around reserve, it is possible that modifications can intervene later on for fishing in the boat. The fishermen will be individually informed at the time of their usual request for inscription.
